I m looking for a short horror psychological anime and i found elfen lied to be pretty popular in its genre so is it worth a watch. Elfen lied revolves around the interactions views emotions and discrimination between humans and the diclonius a mutant species similar to humans in build but distinguishable by two cat ear like horns and vectors transparent arms which can pass through air and objects at high speed. Like the manga is roughly 2 5 times longer than the anime and has a much better ending. I don t know about watching this anime because i used to have a friend in 6th grade she used to always be nice and act like a normal girl but during her 7th and 8th grade years she started watching elfen lied and i gotta say that this anime completely brainwashed her. It stood apart from other anime due to the gore and themes that the anime brought up.
